Government to launch National Employment Policy

Government is to launch a National Employment Policy and Action Plan that will tackle the unemployment situation in the Country. The Programme which is supported by the UNDP will embody employment activities in both public and informal sectors so as to map out strategies that will offer jobs to the numerous unemployed youth.

The Minister of Employment and Social Welfare, Stephen Amoanor Kwao who disclosed this to Radio Ghana said the number of Jobless people is frigthening and that is why Government wants to tackle the problem in a wholistic manner.
