Statement: New Edubiase United grateful to Sidalco

The management of New Edubiase United Football Club wishes to express our heartfelt thanks and sincerest gratitude to Sidalco Company Limited, a liquid fertilizer manufacturing company for the unflinching sponsorship support rendered to the team so far in the on-going 2009/2010 Glo Premier League.

It is important to note that even though this season’s league has been plagued by the delay of the sponsorship money from the major sponsors, Sidalco have never relented in their efforts at ensuring that the club is relieved of any financial woes that will hinder the team’s performance in the on-going league.

It is interesting therefore to note that their support, which has reflected in our teams performance have ensured our appreciable position on the league table and we are hoping to stay in the top four teams by the end of the first round of the season.

Despite our home invincibility in the league so far, connoisseurs of the game have decried our away performance which leaves nothing to write home about, with three losses in three matches, but the financial backing from Sidalco Company Limited will provide a sound footing for us to secure our first away win over our classmates in the league, Aduana Stars at Dormaa on Sunday.

In the heat of the struggle to stay up in the league, the head coach of the team, Coach Emmanuel Kwasi Afranie has also commended his boys for the scintillating performance put up so far in the league. He has also assured the management of the confidence he has in his boys such as skipper Isaac Boakye, James Nanor, Carlos Coffie, Seidu Bansi, Moro Ibrahim, Asiedu Atobrah, Francis Bossman, Aaron Amoah and the twin brothers in Ghana football, Fuseini and Alhassan Nuhu to carry on the battle, not just to stay in the league but to maintain an appreciable position and preferably to play in this year’s Top 4 competition.
