First National Bank Opens 20th Branch
The company, which currently has 42,677 customers, has disbursed a total of GH 23.97 million as loans so far to its clients within three years of operations in the country.
Speaking at the launch, the Finance Manager of the company, Sam Addo Nortey, said the company has plans to open five more branches before the end of 2010 to increase its branches to 25.
“This is in fulfillment of our vision to be the people’ bank,” he added.
Mr. Nortey stated that Sunyani branch is the second to be opened in the region after Techiman.
“Because the bank cherishes these two branches in the region, the company intends to introduce services such as financial advisory services, business advisory and one-on-one relationship personal banking in order to deepen relations with our cherished customers,” he said.
The Finance Manager mentioned that the Bank is prepared to assist farmers as well as provide the needed funding to increase farm produce to alleviate poverty.
Mr. Addo Nortey urged the people in the region to bank with them because it has attractive interest rates, highly flexible loan payments with no collateral loans schemes and excellent customer services.
The chairman for the occasion and Rector of the Sunyani Polytechnic, Professor Nsiah Gyabaah advised the youth to start saving in order to secure their future.
