Mr Seth Adjei-Baah, Member of Parliament (MP) for Nkawkaw, has assured people in the constituency that he would mobilize resources to finance development projects to improve their living standards.

He advised the people to bury their political differences and support government’s policies and programmes to help complete on-going projects and initiate new ones in the various communities.

Mr Adjei-Baah gave the assurance when he visited a number of communities in his constituency to thank them for voting for him in last year’s parliamentary elections to effect the needed development change in the municipality. Some of the communities the MP visited include Danteng, Awendade, Kwamang, Kofi Dede, Aprahwem, Fodoa, Banka, Adensua, Onokwa and Nyinankrumah.

Mr Adjei-Baah said he would soon begin free distribution of exercise books to all basic school pupils in the constituency, provide furniture and construct and rehabilitate educational infrastructure to improve the standard of education in the constituency.

He promised to award scholarship to children who performed excellently in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) but were financially constrained to enable them to further their education. He advised parents to send their children to school and take interest in their studies.

Members of the communities visited appealed to the MP to assist in the rehabilitation of roads, extension of electricity supply, construction of bore holes, rehabilitation of school blocks and construction of a processing factory to process a large number of citrus and other agriculture produce.
