Accra, Oct. 21, GNA – The management of Zain Telecommunication Ghana, on Wednesday launched a promotion called “Happy Day” to reward its subscribers for their loyalty since its operations about a year ago.
The 12-month promotion would enable subscribers access accumulation of top-up used within 24 hours on voice calls, short message service as well as video calls as bonus.
Speaking at the launch in Accra, Miss Carmen Bruce-Annan, Corporate Communications Manager of Zain Ghana, said provision of maximum value for money, affordable and quality service was the company’s hallmark.
She said “The overwhelming success of the previous promotion “You Pay, Zain Pays” a service that offered customers credits spent during the month as bonus, proved that customers enjoyed being part of the promotion.
“For Zain it is just about rewarding our customers and making them feel part of the Zain family world-wide,” she said.
Miss Bruce-Annan said management was always finding novelty ways to reward its customers adding “the more you use the 3.5G network, the closer you get to living your dream”.
She said customers could subscribe to the service by texting “026” to short code 121, call customer care service on 111 or visit any Zain shop for assistance.
Miss Bruce-Annan said: “Upon successful subscription two Ghana cedis is deducted from the customer’s account as initial subscription to the service”.
“Once subscribed, the service would be automatically renewed as the subscription amount remains in the account during the renewal. In this case the customer will be automatically unsubscribed from the service”.
“Customers using the You Pay, Zain Pays” service cannot participate in the “Happy Day” promotion unless the customer de-activates the initial service,” Miss Bruce-Annan said.
She explained that the bonus credit could only be used for making voice calls, video calls, short message service but not data, internet service and international calls.
Miss Bruce-Annan said the service was open to all pre-paid mobile customers, and would be charged 14 Ghana pesewas per minute on calls.
Zain is a leading telecommunications operator across the Middle East and Africa providing mobile and data services to 64.7 million customers in about 24 countries.
Barely seven months of its operations in Ghana, the company has more than one million subscribers.
